It's a work of God

This week, pastor Don considers Jesus as 'the Good Shepherd' who calls His sheep and the nature of 'the call', that is, how a person is called to put their trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour & Lord, and how the call is effective. Some have taken the fact that God is sovereign and calls whom He wills to imply that we as God's children don't need to share the Gospel. However, just because these concepts of God's sovereignty and man's responsibility may seem hard to reconcile, does not mean that both are not true nor are they irreconcileable.
