This week, pastor Don continues the series in the book of John focusing on Jesus' disciples as being followers. In John 13, Jesus does something for His disciples by way of example, to wash their feet. This would have been a job that not even servants would have been requied to do in Jesus' day, and yet Jesus does this most menial of tasks. Our attitude therefore, as Jesus' followers, ought to be characterised by a desire, not for self-exaltation, but rather of service for others, particularly our brothers and sisters in Christ.
