This week, pastor Don addresses the question from Ephesians 1, 'what do you need?'. As Paul writes to the Ephesians, he reminds them of their greatest need, to know Jesus and to have their spiritual eyes enlightened. He does not pray that their circumstances might change, nor does he ask them to pray that he might be released from prison (for that is where he writes this letter), but that they might know the hope, His glorious inheritance, His power. In other words, more than anything else in this life, what we need is to 'know Him'. This surely, puts everything else that we might think we need, into perspective.
