This week, Pastor Don continues his look at 2 Timothy, focusing on chapter 3:10-17. Paul's emphasis has always been on genuine Gospel centred living, based solely on the Word of God. If we don't get thsi right, we'll quickly go off track, as some in the church at Ephesus had clearly done. As God's Word does it's work in our lives, it will conform us to His will. This doesn't sit well with our sinful tendencies, and so we must continually come back to God's Word to see where we need to change. Verse 16 reminds us that God's Word reproves us, corrects us and trains us and verse 17 tells us that it is full able (or adequate) to equip us to live for the Lord.
